This information was derived from the prototype Patrol N289R.   The Bearhawk Patrol can accept engines from 115hp to 200hp. The Patrol is an original design by Robert Barrows of Fincastle, VA.  Mr. Barrows holds an A&P licence, he is a Mechanical Engineer and also does consulting engineering.  He has designed and built many aircraft and currently builds engines for homebuilders.
